Description & Details
Hydrogrossular Garnet is considered by many to be an ‘extinct’ stone. Found in very small quantities in South Africa. Most Hydrogrossular Garnet is pale in color, however when found in deep rich red or the rarest bicolor specimens, its price and desirability is profound. This incredible artistic piece is a complication of rarities is a “who’s who” of goodies. Starting with the bicolor red and green garnet, set in 18K yellow gold; the garnet is surrounded by a single row of natural orange to yellow sapphires, then wrapped in a second row of diamonds. To compliment the centerpiece the necklace is strung with Italian Red Coral beads and flanked by Plum Garnet beads. Not to pass on an opportunity to add elegance to this already eye catching piece, it has 19k Yellow Gold Beads.
