In a rare display of deep red color tones Hydrogrossular Garnet is a lesser-known material in the gemological community. This is due to its extremely limited quantities ever to be introduced to the marketplace. For those lucky enough to find a piece, they are most likely to encounter one of the diluted variants. Hydrogrossular garnet can be found in pinto peach tones and varies from pale to grass greens, with dark red being the rarest and the most sought after. This display is for both the rough which weighs 80.16 carats. Grossular Garnet is believed to provide physical healing properties which include aiding in recovery of illness or trauma by regenerating new cell growth and stimulating the blood. It also has been known to detoxify and alleviate inflammation thought the body and boosting the immune and respiratory systems.
